Yes it is time for “Good Cause Friday” and today’s feature is ( drumroll) The Red Cross, Yes I agree a very obvious choice but nevertheless a very important one.
The Red Cross has been around since 1881 and there is almost no end to all the humanitarian work they do. Not only do they help victims of war and natural disasters, they also offer community service such as making sure families stay in touch with their loved ones who is serving in the military, they are also credited the biggest blood drive in United states. Giving Blood is giving life and is one of the many ways to donate to the Red Cross. Another great way is volunteering your time. If you don’t have time or blood to give, you can of cause donate money, air miles or hotel miles. You can shop at their awesome store were there are many hip products. If you are a blogger you can do what I just did and blog about their tireless efforts.
